Inflation is on the rise across the country with a 20-kg bag of flour has become Rs 27 dearer in just one week, says the Bureau of Statistics.
A 20-kg bag of flour costs Rs 1,300 in Karachi and Hyderabad, Rs 1,170 in Islamabad, Rs 1,240 in Rawalpindi, Rs 1,100 in Sialkot and Rs 1,120 in Faisalabad.
In Sargodha, a bag of flour became expensive by Rs. 20, after which its price in the area has gone up to Rs. 1,020.
In Bahawalpur, the price of a bag of flour increased by Rs. 14 in a week. The shopkeepers increased the price from Rs. 1106 to Rs. 1120.
In Sukkur, a bag of flour is available at Rs. 1120 and Rs. 1180 in Larkana. In Larkana, a bag of flour became expensive by Rs. 20 in a week.
According to statistics, a bag of flour is being sold at Rs 1,100 in Peshawar, Rs 1,120 in Bannu, Rs 1,250 in Quetta and Rs 1,200 in Khuzdar.
