First senate meeting of University of Agriculture Dera Ismail Khan took place at Governor House Peshawar to discuss the budget of the university for the fiscal year 2021-2022.
On the behalf of the Governor, meeting was chaired by Secretary Agriculture Livestock and Cooperative Department, Dr. Israr Ahmad while Special Secretary Higher Education Archives and Library Department, Additional Secretary Governor, Secretary Finance, Principal Secretary to Governor, Vice Chancellor UAD, Registrar, Director Finance, Assistant Director Administration, and other nominees from different departments were part of the meeting.
Vice Chancellor, University of Agriculture Dera Prof. Dr. Masroor Elahi Babar (TI), presented the budget for his university and after the long discussion, the house unanimously approved the budget of UAD for the year 2021-2022.
While speaking on the occasion, the officials gave credit to the Registrar, Director Finance and Assistant Director Administration for preparing the budget and calling the senate meeting in time for approval after approving the budget in F&P meeting earlier.
It is pertinent to mention that F&P meeting of the University took place on 16th of this month.
Staff of the varsity consider this success as the outcome of the tireless efforts of Vice Chancellor of the University and vows to put more efforts for the betterment of the university under his visionary leadership.
