At least eight people of same family including women and children were killed and six others injured when a vehicle into a gorge here on Sunday.
According to details, the accident took place on Lassan Nawab Road near Gojra Bridge in Mansehra where driver of a carrying van lost control on steering of vehicle due to over loading and it fell down into ravine at bank of River Siran.
Eight people of same family including driver Wazir Muhammad s/o Dost Muhammad, Muhammad Ayaz s/o Ali Bahadur, one-year-old Ayan Ali s/o Sarfraz, one-month-old Irrum d/o Sarfraz, Muhammad Parvez s/o Ghulam Jilani, Mrs Fareeda w/o Muhammad Ayas, Mrs Shaheen w/o Sarfraz and Mrs Nageena w/o Muhammad were killed in the accident while Muhammad Amjad, Shehnaz Bibi, Anaya Bibi, Arslan, Muhammad Ali and Muhammad Nawaz were injured.
The bodies and injured were shifted to Phulra Hospital where injured were referred to King Abdullah Hospital Mansehra where according to hospital sources condition of some wounded people was serious.
