Ghotki cop, wife looking for son’s bride abducted


A cop and his wife have been abducted in Ghotki at a time when both were on their way to find a match for their son, police sources said on Sunday.

The outlaws demanded five million rupees ransom to free both the cop named Ibrahim Chadar and his wife.

The TV channel reported that dacoits have abducted the couple from ‘katcha’ area of Ghotki and despite the passage of 10 days, the Sindh police have failed to rescue their colleague.

Policeman Ibrahim Chadar was working in the complaint cell of the Ghotki Police. The relatives of both the abductees have urged the authorities to rescue the couple.—INP
