The police arrested a TikToker who uploaded a video on the famous social media platform of the schoolgirls on Thursday.

Reportedly, a man filmed some girl students who were going to school in a rickshaw in Mandi Bahauddin and uploaded the clip on TikTok.

DPO Mandi Bahauddin Anwar Saeed took notice of the video. On his orders, Civil Lines police arrested the TikToker and registered a case against him.

The Beijing-based startup caught the world by storm in 2018. But the video-sharing app seized Pakistanis’ attention in 2019. It catapulted to national consciousness since then.

The application has been downloaded 1.5 billion times since its start, more than Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

As of now, it has 500 million active users worldwide, according to the research firm Sensor Tower, and it is the fourth most downloadable non-gaming application.
