Ambassador of Pakistan Stockholm Zahoor Ahmed hosted Sound Quest, a swedish band to Pakistan House which visited and performed in Pakistan recently.
Shahrukh Sheikh, Tuva Lee, Felix, Gro¨ndahl, Eva Dunder from Sound Quest Band and famous singers from Royal Opera Vincent Hashimi and Paulina Pfieffer attended the event along with Pakistani community members.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Zahoor Ahmed welcomed the guests and talked about the diverse and rich in history, culture, cuisine and music of Pakistan.
He said Pakistan has many different types and styles of music ranging from traditional rock to hard rock, world pop to folk and classical to jazz.
He said that the collaboration between the musicians of the two countries would usher in a new musical journey.
Sharing their experiences of visiting Pakistan, the band members said they were overwhelmingly impressed with the hospitality, natural beauty, people, historical sites, culture, local cuisines and Pakistani music.
In the end, the event was concluded with a short but fascinating performance by the artists and musicians which included singing Dil Dil Pakistan.—PR
