The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has awarded Sub Inspector Rana Ijaz, who had stopped PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif at Lahore Airport earlier this month with a cash prize and certificate.
Sub-inspector Rana Ijaz was awarded Rs10,000 and a certificate by the FIA Punjab Zone one Director Dr Rizwan.
Shehbaz Sharif was trying to fly from Lahore Airport after getting court orders before Eid but he could not manage to get his name removed from the blacklist.
According to FIA authorities, FIA Sub-Inspector Raja Ijaz had stopped Shehbaz Sharif from traveling abroad without any pressure from the government or the agency’s high-ups.
