Balochistan Assembly (BA) Speaker Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo and disgruntled members of the provincial cabinet on Wednesday decided to convene a meeting in the ongoing week to discuss the situation, arising out of the resignations of some of the cabinet members and how to bring no-trust motion against Chief Minister Jam Kamal in the assembly.

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentary Leader in the provincial assembly Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, Saleh Bhotani, other ‘angry’ ministers and members of the assembly will attend the meeting.

The sources disclosed that a committee would also be constituted at the meeting to reach out to opposition parties so that the no-confidence motion could become a success.

Differences in Balochistan cabinet had reached a point of no return and the Balochistan Assembly Speaker and four provincial ministers had in principle decided to tender their resignations in a few days.—INP
