Governor Faisal Karim Kundi Warns Action Against Absent Employees Calls For Accountability In Kp

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has warned government employees against neglecting their official responsibilities, saying those who draw salaries while remaining absent from work will have to face consequences.

Speaking to the media in Peshawar, Kundi questioned the performance of government departments and said employees could not continue receiving salaries while avoiding their duties.

He stated that individuals who wanted to receive their salaries while staying at home would no longer be allowed to continue in government service.

The governor further said that a proper system of punishment and fines would be introduced against those found guilty of wrongdoing.

Kundi Questions Cleanliness and Development in Peshawar

Commenting on the ongoing cleanliness activities in Peshawar, the governor questioned why such efforts had not been carried out earlier.

He also challenged the previous government over its performance, asking for even a single flower planted by the former administration in the city known for its flowers.

Kundi’s remarks also focused on the performance of government departments and the need to hold responsible individuals accountable for their work.
