Spokesperson for Sindh Government and Adviser to CM for Law, Environment & Coastal Development Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that the people should take the precautionary measures in the third waveas taken in the first wave of Corona virus and the federal government should play its role in providing vaccine to the people.
He said the situation of corona virus in neighboring countries India and Iran has become very dangerous.
Addressing a press conference in the auditorium of Sindh Assembly Building today, he said that more than one lakh Pakistanis had been vaccinated on Monday which was a welcome step but those who want to be vaccinated by the private sector should be given facilities. Today, 50,000 tests are being performed daily.
He appealed to the people that Eid and Ramazan will come again next year and if a loved one leaves, he will not come back.
In the current situation, the government needs to take tough decisions because the situation of the corona virus has become dangerous.
He further said that people should refrain from performing Sehri and Iftar collectively as much as possible.
Next year, Ramadan and Eid will come again. In the last 24 hours, 201 Pakistanis have died from the corona epidemic.
He added that tough decisions are not only to be taken by the government but also the people should support the government in this situation and citizens are requested to worship at home during Ramadan.
