Deputy Commissioner Tariq Ali Basra and District Police Officer Syed Ali Raza accompanied by other admin officers enquired about the health of wounded policemen under treatment in DHQ Hospital.

The policemen were wounded during clashes with devotees of TLP while dispersing them to clear the road for restoring traffic.

Like other parts of the country, the TLP workers blocked the Kharian road at 8RD to stop the traffic proceeding to Kharian and Sarai Alamgir to get on the GT Road. Fourteen policemen were injured.
