NAB arrests former PEPCO MD in corruption case

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi on Friday arrested former Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) Managing Director (MD) Rasul Khan Mahsud over charges of misuse of authority and corruption case.
The accused former PEPCO MD Rasul Khan Mahsud approved tenders over exaggerated rates and this criminal act on the part of Rasul Khan Mahsud caused a loss worth Rs 13270 million to the national exchequer.
The NAB Lahore after completion of the investigation against the accused filed corruption reference in an accountability court in December 2015. Keeping in view, Chairman NAB Justice Javed Iqbal has issued his arrest warrants.
