Convener of MQM-Pakistan Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui while addressing the public rally at Nishtar Parkon Thursday said that our forefathers had dreamt of Pakistan on 23rd March 1940 and gave it on 14th August 1947.
This is a testament to the commitment of our leadership. If the founder of Pakistan had time and life, he would have made Kashmir a part of Pakistan.
But Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto gave us half of Pakistan. “When we migrated, we had left our national identity and became Pakistani.”
“We were told that the 18th of March is a threat to the peace of the city and the security of the country, so we love the peace of our city and the security of the country the most. We have changed the date.
It should be clear that changing the date does not change the movement. Our relations with Tehreek-e-Pakistan, Tehreek-e-Khilafat is linked to the war of independence.
This series is connected with the perseverance of the captive Quaid-e-Azam, of Hasrat Mohani and the martyrdom of the martyred nation. March23we decided to become Pakistan.
March 18 is the decision to save Pakistan. March 23 was the intention to become Pakistan. March 18 Promise to save Pakistan We are lucky that we have freedom and we are very unlucky that we did not value the freedom for which more than 2 million people sacrificed.”
Dr. Khalid said that MQM-Pakistan had entered an era of indifference when we were moving towards brutality so the development of the country was possible only by following the path of democracy and creating provinces where needed. In particular, a separate urban Sindh province should be established in Sindh province and the 2017 census should be declared null and void and a transparent census should be conducted.
Amir Khan, Senior Deputy Convener, said that today there are more than 100 political parties operating in Pakistan, some on the right wing and some on the left wing. But the atrocities that were perpetrated against the members of MQM have never happened to a member of any other party. Our members have been killed in the streets of the city.
We have never hijacked a plane. We have never said that we will come sitting on Indian tanks. We have not climbed the mountains with weapons. Take it is our fault that we have talked about the rights of the poor middle-class people. I want to say that the day of oppression is coming to an end. He paid rich tributes to the leaders and the people.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Convener MQM Pakistan Kanwar Naveed Jameel said that today’s gathering is of Pakistani intentions, our forefathers who were running the Pakistan movement and their intentions.
