Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali on Sunday ordered registration of case against the owner of a dying factory on charges of polluting environment by using sub-standard fuel in the factory.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali paid a surprise visit to the dying factory at at Satiana Bangla and ordered its management to stop the boilers.
When the factory was raided, substandard items were being used as fuel, which was polluting the environment.
The DC directed the Saddr Assistant Commissioner and Deputy Director Environment to take immediate action against the dying factory.
The boiler operation of the factory was stopped and a case was registered against the owner.
