PARC organizes meeting on evaluation progress of JICA, PARC project

A project evaluation and monitoring team of Japan Cooperation Agency, (JICA) funded project on “Capacity Development of Agriculture extension services in Balochistan Province” called on at NARC.

The 3-years project is jointly executed by JICA/PARC and Department of Agriculture Extension Baluchistan. Chairman PARC, Dr. Muhammad Azeem Khan, DG NARC Shamim ul Sibtain Shah, Mr. Nobuki Kojima, Mr. Kenji Nakamura alongwith other high officials joined this meeting.

Mr. Nobuki Kojima and Mr. Kenji Nakamura delivered a brief presentation and stated that as per plan of the project, training of field assistants on vegetable, cereal, and seed production, continued even under Covid pandemic period that is appreciating part of PARC.

Trainings on efficient use of fertilizer, Pest management, Water management and agriculture extension techniques were also included in this farmer trainings.
