Aleem greets senators-elect

Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan on Friday congratulated the Senators elected unopposed from Punjab province and said that the election of Senators in proportion to the representation by political parties is a welcome development, which will help in strengthening democratic activities and parliamentary system.

In his tweet, Abdul Aleem Khan expressed confidence that Pakistan Tehreek -e- Insaf, like Punjab, would also win its seats in the Senate in other provinces as per its share. He also expressed his expectation that mutual understanding among the political parties.

Abdul Aleem Khan further said that these newly elected Senators of PTI will play their active role in the legislation, and upholding of constitution.

Similarly, the present government would be able to implement its manifesto and move forward in legislation through Senate. Abdul Aleem Khan in his tweet expressed best wishes for the newly elected Senators.
