Four relatives, including fathers and sons, on Sunday were shot and killed over a property related dispute by a relative in Pasroor tesil.
According to the police in village Klasswala, in the limits of the Sadder Pasroor police station, a man Rana Shahab with the help of his accomplices opened indiscriminate firing at his relatives over a land dispute.
As a result of firing, accused’s paternal uncle, Zulfiqar s/o Bashir (50), Zulfiqar’s son Hasan (30), and Zulfiqar’s relative Majid (30) were killed at the spot while deceased Majid’s father Abdul Rehman (55) sustained fatal injuries.
The accused persons managed to flee from the spot afterwards whereas the injured Abdul Rehman was rushed to a local hospital where he also expired due to severe injuries.
The District Police Officer Hasan Asad Alvi took notice of the incident and directed the concerned police to arrest the accused with in 24 hours. The police after taking the bodies in custody for postmortem and registering a murder case have started conducting raids for the arrest of the accused.
