Two terrorists including a commander were killed during an intelligence based operation conducted by the security forces in North Waziristan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, security forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation on terrorist hideout in Malik Khel, North Waziristan late last night.
During intense exchange of fire two terrorists including a commander Rehmat alias Khalid were killed. During exchange of fire Havaldar Shahzad Raza embraced shahadat.
Terrorist Rehmat was an IED expert and remained involved in different terrorist activities against Security Forces, extortion, kidnapping for ransom and target killing since 2009 in the area. During search operation security forces recovered huge cache of weapons.
Meanwhile, funeral prayers of four soldiers, martyred by terrorist fire in South Waziristan and a bomb blast in Balochistan, were offered on Saturday and they were laid to rest in their native villages with full military honour.
Funeral prayers were offered for three soldiers who embraced martyrdom as a result of terrorist fire at the Sararogha check post in South Waziristan and for Shehryar Khattak at Manzini Banda, Shahid Anwar’s at Mohabbat Kila and Shehzad Hassan’s funeral prayers were offered at Sabirabad.
