An accused gunned down one person and injured his brother over land dispute here on Wednesday and escaped the scene.

According to details, the incident took place in Baidadi area of Shinkiari in district Mansehra where accused Saqib s/o Faqir Muhammad opened fire at two brothers over passageway row.

As a result of firing, Haji Saeed ur Rehman was killed on the spot and his brother Hafizur Rehman was critically injured. The body and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.—INP
