Taking strong notice of the alleged leakage of question paper of screening test conducted for hiring Primary School Teachers (PST) by a private testing agency, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has ordered a fact finding enquiry into the matter by Provincial Inspection Team (PIT). Chief Minister’s Secretariat has issued a letter to PIT in this regard.
The PIT will conduct a fact finding enquiry into the matter and submit its report with clear recommendations to the provincial government within the next seven days.
“The provincial inspection team may also co-opt any member including Director E&SE and an Officer from IT, Home Department and Special branch not less than BPS-19 officer to facilitate the conduct of enquiry”, the letter reads.
In a statement issued here, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has said that merit and transparency in the recruitment process of government employees is the top most priority of his government which would not be compromised at any cost adding that strict action would be taken against those involved in the matter. He stated that results of the tests have been withheld, further action would be taken in the light of enquiry report.
