Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), an ally of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) at Centre, has offered Senate ticket to Senator Sitara Ayaz of Awami National Party (ANP) as the party has started approaching political figures for elections for the upper house of the parliament. Sitara Ayaz is currently a member of Senate who would retire in March after completing six years term. Sources have said that the senator has conveyed to BAP that she would take the decision after the consultations. Similarly, the sources added, the party has also approached Shahjee Gul Afridi, a businessman from the erstwhile tribal areas, and offered him a ticket for the elections.—INP
