Schedule for Matric, Inter exams announced

The IX and X examinations will be held from July one to 15 instead of March and April this year and eleventh and Intermediate exams from July 28 till 16 August as per decisions of steering committee,Education Minister Saeed Ghani

 

He expressed these views in a press conference after the meeting of the steering committee of the Sindh Education Department. The minister said Nursery to VIII examinations will be held from June 7 and their results will be released by June 26.  This year, university admissions will be after October 15.

 

The next academic year will start on August 2, 2021.  According to the decision of the steering committee, the duration of examinations has been decreased from 3 hours to 2 hours this year. So far, 1.7 per cent of Karachi’s colleges and 5.5 per cent of schools have reported positive cases of corona.
