Provincial spokesman and PTI President Attock District Qazi Ahmed Akbar have said transforming the school’s education sector according to global needs and requirements is the priority agenda of the PTI government and despite the prevailing COVID-19 epidemic, various initiatives are taken to strengthen it.
He was talking to newsmen after performing the inauguration ceremony of newly constructed classrooms block at Government girls high School in Nartopa in Hazro tehsil of Attock on Wednesday.
The block is constructed with an allocation of Rs 2.80 million. He said the Punjab government is working hard to provide the best environment to the students in their educational institutions and added that education is the first step towards a new Pakistan.
“We want our students to benefit from international educational models and equip themselves with the best education to perform well in their respective spheres of life”. He added. He said that education enabled harnessing true potentials for the betterment of our own, societies, besides making us a better human being and a productive asset of society.
While briefing the newsmen about the ongoing development projects in the education sector in tehsil Hazro, he said that two states of the art special education centers would be established in Hazro tehsil and the academic session would be commenced during the next educational year as buildings of these centers are near to completion.
He added that one center would be established at Mansar while the other would be established at Jatyial. He said that by the establishment of these two centers, better education facilities would be provided to the special children of the area at their doorsteps.
