The citizens of Tank have expressed grave concerns over the excessive robbery attempts in the city and called upon the high ups of Police to take stock of the situation. Robbery attempts were reported in Mohallah Khudriyan Wala and Mohallah Haider Khan of the city in the night between Sunday and Monday. The robbers once again were reported to be seen in the said Mohallahs where the dwellers opened aerial fire in defense of their life and property and forced the thieves to leave the scene however despite all this the police could not reach the spot in time, the locals complained.
It is worth mentioning here that various robbery attempts have been reported in the different areas of the city during the last month however the police do seem completely helpless to arrest the robbers. The citizens have called upon the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to take notice of the situation and depute dutiful police officers in the district.
