Soldier martyred, two terrorists killed in shoot out Grenade attack leaves five injured in Turbat

A bloody shootout between the security forces and militants in an Intelligence Based Operation in North Waziristan district on the night between Saturday and Sunday led to the martyrdom of a Pakistan Army soldier. Two terrorists were also moved down by the security forces in the retaliatory fire.
“A soldier of the Pak Army Naseer embraced martyrdom during an operation at a militant hideout in North Waziristan. “Two of the terrorists were also killed in the intelligence based operation”. The Inter Services Public Relations said.
The martyred soldier was on Sunday laid to rest in in his native village in Haripur district after a funeral prayer, which was attended by people from all walks of life. The ISPR said adding his burial was carried out with complete military honors.
At least two Pak Army soldiers embraced Shahadat and another man in uniform sustained serious wounds when unknown terrorists resorted to an indiscriminate firing at a check post near Push Ziarat in South Waziristan on November 19 last.
Likewise, at least six soldiers were martyred in an improvised explosive device attack on a security forces convoy in North Waziristan in the month of October whereas a Pakistan Army Captain Abdullah aged 25 had embraced Shahadat in a terrorist attack on the security forces in South Waziristan.
Agencies add: At least five people, including four settlers, were injured in a grenade attack at the main Bazaar Cinema Chowk in Turbat, Balochistan on Sunday. The area was cordoned off by police and Frontier Corps personnel right after the attack, whereas the injured were taken to a local hospital, according to the police.
The injured had been identified as Liaqat Allah Yar, resident of Lodhran, Punjab; Naseeb Khan Mushkoor Ali, resident of Sindh; Naeem Farooq, resident of Bahawalpur; Zeeshan Mehran who hailed from Sindh and Liaqat Zafar who hailed from Dashti Bazaar, Turbat.
