The ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday.
The meeting between the two focused on bilateral cooperation and the current Covid-19 situation. The resolve to further strengthen the strong, longstanding Pakistan-Saudi Arabia fraternal ties was reaffirmed during the visit.
The Saudi envoy last week met the Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the military’s headquarters in Rawalpindi and discussed matters of mutual interest. During the meeting matters of regional security situation and bilateral defence relations between the two brotherly countries were also discussed, it added. Separately, Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of party spokespersons that was also participated by party leaders.
