A special bench of the anti-narcotics court on Friday rejected a bail plea of for-mer Punjab law minister and senior Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Rana Sanaullah in the narcotics case.
The court, however, accepted bail pleas for five of his aides, who were also co-accused in the case. The verdicts against were announced by special central judge Khalid Bashir.
Speaking to media representatives, Sanaullah’s wife said she was glad that bail pleas of her husband’s aides were accepted. “Sanaullah is a righteous and truthful person. We will now file a bail request for his release at the Lahore High Court,” she added.
