In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Gujjar Pahari Democratic Forum, Chaudhry Shaheen Iqbal has urged the Kashmiris to boycott the so-called elections of District Development Councils (DDCs) in the territory.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Chaudhry Shaheen Iqbal in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India had always used the participation of Kashmiri people in the sham elections to mislead the world about the ground situation of the territory.
He said, “The brave people of IIOJK are sacrificing their lives to liberate their motherland from the tyranny of the world’s biggest military power by challenging its arrogance and it is our responsibility to protect these sacrifices.—KMS
