Pfizer Pakistan Limited and Chughtai Lab are joining hands to improve access to vaccines by establishing vaccination centers at various spots across the country. This initiative is driven by core values and commitment of both Pfizer and Chughtai Lab to impact patients’ lives through immunization.
The signing ceremony of the partnership was held at Chughtai Lab Head Office, 7 Jail Road Main Gulberg, Lahore on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 2 pm to 3 pm. According to details shared by senior executives of both entities, Chughtai Lab will be offering vaccination services across Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Omar Chughtai, Director Operations, Chughtai Lab, said that We are pleased to join Pfizer Pakistan in this partnership so as to extend the reach of quality vaccines to eligible patients. Each year thousands of people, especially adults, die from vaccine preventable disease in our country. Improving accessibility of important vaccines like Pneumococcal, Meningococcal, Influenza among others will help reduce disease burden and its associated economic cost of the society as well.
Syed Muhammad Wajeehuddin, Country Manager of Pfizer Pakistan, in his message said: Pfizer is committed in extending innovative solutions to patients who could benefit the most from them.
Through this partnership with Chughtai Lab, we aim to unleash the true potential of innovative vaccines and the ‘breakthroughs it can bring about in patient’s lives’. Patients can now easily get vaccinated under the supervision of fully trained and qualified staff at Chughtai Lab.
