Assistant commissioner Zunaira Jalil conducted the revenue public service court at Land Record Centre Hassanabdal on Monday and listened problems of applicants and issued orders to resolve their problems.
Tehsildars, Sub-Registrars, Patwaris and the officials of Land Record Centres were also present at an open Court.
The complaints for correction of record, transfer and registration issues, registry, income certificate, inspection of record, issuance of domicile and other revenue related matters were heard at the court. On this occasion, proper seating arrangements were made for the citizens and separate counters were also set up for redressal of grievances.
Speaking on this occasion, Assistant commissioner Zunaira Jalil has said that Revenue officers hold open courts at tehsil level to solve people’s problems at their door steps.
She said that citizens can approach the tehsil office concerned on the first of every month for resolving the issues relating to revenue. She said the revenue public service courts have been established at tehsil level on the first working day of every month.
She said the purpose of conducting the revenue court is to resolve the problems of the people under one roof by listening to their problems relating to the department of revenue.
