A man has allegedly raped a seven-year-old girl in Safdarabad area of district Sheikhupura.
According to police, one Muhammad Sajid, 23, lifted a 7-year-old girl who had come to a shop to buy chocolate and took her to a building of government school.
He subjected her to rape therein and fled the scene. The police took timely action and arrested him. Police have registered case and started investigation.
Spiritual-healer stabbed to death
Some unidentified persons stabbed to death a peer (spiritual healer) in Mela here and fled the scene.
According to the police, Chan Pir had set up his peer khana in the mid of Midh Ranjha and started giving amulets to people in the name of spiritual healing.
Some unidentified persons stabbed him to death mercilessly.
The Mela Police took the body into custody and sent to Basic Health Centre.
The police claimed the culprits will soon be traced out.
