Shahbaz sent to jail on judicial remand

Accountability court (AC) judge on Tuesday refused to remand Shahbaz Sharif for another 15 days in money laundering case. Shahbaz was sent to jail on judicial remand while another court in the Ramzan Sugar Mill case adjourned the hearing of Hamza Shahbaz’s reference till October 31.
According to details, Shahbaz Sharif, arrested in the NAB money laundering case, was produced before the court again after his one-week remand ended and a request was made for further remand of Shahbaz Sharif. The court asked prosecutor that what he wanted to ask Shahbaz Sharif. On which Prosecutor Malik Asadullah said that Shahbaz has been given various questions to which he did not give them answers. Addressing the court, Shahbaz Sharif said, “Sir, he only interrogated me for fifteen minutes in a week. He kept bringing me the same questions which I have already answered.
