Commissioner Hazara Riaz Khan Mehsud has taken stern action against illegal construction of hotels, encroachments on Mansehra Babusar road and along river Kunhar and illegal excavation from river Kunhar at Naran and directed them to carry out an operation against violators which immediately stopped the construction work on spot and arrested 20 violators and handed them over to police for further necessary legal action.
During field visit just after attending the 3rd meeting of Board of Directors of Kaghan development authority (KDA) at Battakundi, Commissioner Hazara along with board members paid in inspection visit of the valley. They inspected illegal constructions, encroachments on Mansehra Babusar road and along river Kunhar condition of Mansehra Naran road, Illegal excavation from river Kunhar.
They observed absence of traffic management plan, unavailability of parallel activities for tourists and very bad and poor condition of the Mansehra Naran road.
