Students training essential for social development: Minister

Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Mian Mehmoodur Rashid has said that training of students is essential for social development and the role of educational institutions is important in this regard. “The secret behind success of the developed countries lies in the social training of their students.”
And that is why today such countries have easily reached all the stages of economic and social development. The development of Pakistan is also linked to meeting the academic needs of the students as well as best training,” Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Mian Mehmoodur Rashid expressed the views while addressing the inauguration of a Tuition Centre of Unique Group of Institutions at Rachna Block in Iqbal Town here.
The minister said that the unique feature of Unique Group of Institutions is that it has always strived to meet the curriculum needs of the students as well as their social training. And that is why today Unique Group has spread to all corners of Lahore. Addressing the function, Chairman Unique Group of Institutions Prof. Abdul Manan Khurram said that Unique Group provides student with the best and modern environment to meet the curriculum needs of its students.
He said that special attention is also paid to the social training of the students in the Unique Group and in this regard they are also provided opportunities to participate in various co-curricular activities. Addressing the function, Vice Chairman Unique Group Afif Ashraf Siddiqui said that the role of private educational institutions is important in increasing literacy rate in the country.
The event was attended by Director Unique Group of Institutions Prof. Wasim Anwar Chaudhry, Project Director Madam Fakhra, Senior Journalist and Analyst Naeem Khan Niazi, Principal Coordination Sanaullah Sani, Manager Media and Communications Zaneer Chaudhry besides a large number of guests.
