In order to improve and maintain cleanliness condition, Albayrak Waste Management placed 100 additional waste containers in Shalimar Town, Ravi Town and China Scheme on Friday.
Albayrak initiated the provision of additional waste containers on the occasion of Eidul Azha during which 100 containers have already been placed on Sundar Das Road, Zaman Park, Mall Road, Lytton Road, Allama Iqbal Road, Edgerton Road and Mecca Colony.
The objectives of providing additional waste containers in the field were to address the waste issues and encourage the public to use waste bins for garbage disposal.
Project Director Albayrak Cagri Ozel said that the Albayrak is utilizing all available resources and machinery to ensure state-of-the-art cleanliness in the city. The citizens should also lend their hands by disposing of trash in the bins that have been provided at street level, Mr Ozel added.
It is pertinent to mention that Albayrak keeps on injecting additional resources in the field as per the needs of waste management system. The dedicated field teams also ensure repairing and maintenance of the containers in time.
