Newly appointed Consul General of Germany Mr. HolgerZiegeler and outgoing Consul General of Italy Ms. Anna Ruffino called on Governor Imran Ismail on Monday. Mr. HolgerZiegeler discussed with the governor further enhancement of bilateral trade relations, investment opportunities in Karachi, the country’s economic hub, and other issues of mutual interest. The governor said that Pak-Germany relations were based on the principles of mutual trust and respect, adding that the federal government was taking steps on priority basis to increase the country’s exports. Balance measures have been praised around the world. The Governor of Sindh said that German investors can get full return by investing in various sectors, in this regard the government will provide them all possible cooperation, assistance and support. Moreover, Consul General of Italy Ms. Anna Ruffino paid a farewell call on Sindh Governor Imran Ismail at Governor House. Bilateral trade and diplomatic relations, and other important issues were discussed in detail during the meeting. On the occasion, the Governor of Sindh said that the services of Consul General Ms. Anna Ruffino for further strengthening Pak-Italy bilateral relations are commendable. I wish you all the best.
