Minister Rehabilitation Sindh Faraz Dero has said that PDMA Sindh is continuously dispatching relief items to affected districts of the province to facilitate affectees of torrential rains & floods. He said that, Irrigation Department is looking after the river banks and families residing in katcha (Riverine) areas should relocate to higher grounds for safety purposes as PDMA Sindh has already issued flood alerts for such areas on 4th of September. He further said that, till date PDMA Sindh has dispatched a large quantity of relief items to various affected districts, which includes more than 53000 tents,62131 ration bags, 82200 mosquito Nets, 2900 Kitchen sets, 2579 Hygiene Kits, 5300 blankets, 259 De watering pumps, 20 Rescue boats, and other relief items.
