Rabita Alami Islami commemorates Int’l Literacy Day

Rabta Alami Islami (Muslim World League) commemorated International Literacy Day on 8th September in its Islamabad office. Dr Qibla Ayaz, Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology was Chief Guest of the event while Saad Masoud-al-Harthi, Regional Director of the Muslim World League chaired the session.
Dr Qibla Ayaz highlighted the significance of literacy and education in the course of Islamic history and traditions and expressed gratitude to the Government of Saudi Arabia and the Muslim World League (MWL) for its struggle to promote education in Pakistan and support the orphan children in their educational pursuits.
Dr Qibla Ayaz assured that Council of Islamic Ideology will continue its collaboration with Muslim World League in its efforts for development of educational facilities in Pakistan.
Mr Saad al-Harithi, the Regional Director of Muslim World League vowed that Muslim World League under dynamic leadership of its Secretary General Dr Muhammad Abd al-Karim al-Essa will continue its struggle for cementing relationship between the people of the two brotherly countries.
