Trans Peshawar, operator of the state of the art Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Thursday said the safety of the passengers was its top priority that cannot be compromised at any cost and that was the reason the spark triggered in the BRT feeder route bus was immediately extinguished with the installed fire extinguisher in the bus and passengers on board were safe.
Spokesman of the Trans Peshawar Umair Khan said all necessary tools were available in all of the BRT buses according to the safety and international standards. Trans Peshawar has also given the necessary training to its employees to cater any unwanted situation. Furthermore, the bus manufacturer company representatives are also on way to Pakistan for a comprehensive inspection of the BRT Peshawar buses.
