The Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday said this while addressing a press conference here at a hotel on Kutchery road.
Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan further added that Sialkot based media had been playing quite positive role in high lighting the strong commitment and high spirit of those offering great sacrifices to defend the geographical and ideological boundaries of the countries. Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan thanked the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) for condemning Indian cruelties and brutalities in IHK, through a resolution passed on Saturday, and expressed its reservations and concerns in this regard.
She said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan at present had become true ambassador of Kashmir and he continuously had been busy in informing the world about the real situation in IHK and had taken a brave and solid stance on that burning issue. She opined that PM Imran Khan due to his honest, strong and charismatic personality had become a towering, reliable and trustworthy world personality.
She said that fascist Modi had internationalized the issue of Kashmir due to his extremist and anti-Muslim approach and now the solution of that old dispute was certainly near. The District Police Officer Capt (R) Mustansar Feroz and others were also present on the occasion.
