Pakistan on Saturday witnessed the lowest number of deaths since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic as only one individual expired from the deadly disease in the past 24 hours, across the country.
No Covid-19 affected patient was on ventilator in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan, the National Command and Operation Centre said in its latest report.
The deceased expired on Friday in a hospital of Sindh. Almost 112 ventilators were occupied across the country out of 1,920 ventilators allocated for Covid-19, it said.
During the last 24 hours, 319 people were tested Covid-19 positive where the total active cases reported across the country were 8,748.
