District Coordination Attock, Ishrat Ullah Khan Niazi has said that district administration Attock is all set for Muharram-ul-Haram. For this purpose, special plans have been chalked out by all tehsil administrations. He said that all processions and majalis will be fully facilitated and special directions have been sent to all tehsil municipal administrations in this regard.
He stated this while chairing a high level meeting to review the arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram at DC Office. The meeting was attended by all assistant commissioners, district administration officials and by other relevant officers. Mr Ishrat said that all relevant officers must play their roles in an impressive manner during Muharram. He said it is our primary duty to maintain peace and religious harmony in the district during Muharram ul Harram.
Dc, Attock further expressed that section 144 will be imposed on using roof tops during processions; under the same section there will be complete ban on brandishing and display of weapons by unauthorized persons and on pillion riding as well.
