In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement Chairman, Mir Shahid Saleem, while condemning the killing of three labourers from Rajouri in a fake encounter by Indian troops has deplored the silence of pro-India politicians and Indian civil society over the gruesome murder.
Mir Shahid Saleem in a statement issued in Jammu, today, said that Indian troops on the intervening night of July 17-18 abducted the labourers from their residence, took them to a shed in nearby garden and killed them in cold blood. He said that the troops then burnt the shed so that the bodies of the martyred labourers could not be recognized.
The JKPM Chairman, however, appreciated some social activists who raised the issue on social media. He said that the troops were killing innocent people for rewards and promotions.—KMS
