In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leader and Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, Abdul Samad Inqilabi while paying glowing tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops in Baramulla, yesterday, said that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not be allowed to go in vain.
Abdul Samad Inqilabi in a statement from Srinagar Central Jail said that Kashmiri people were determined to get freedom from the illegal occupation of India.
He maintained that India used every tactic to weaken the resolve of the Kashmiris but failed to do so.
Abdul Samad Inqalabi said that India had increased its atrocities in Jammu and Kashmir and called on the world powers to intervene and play their role in resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
He urged India to abandon its highhanded policies on Kashmir and give Kashmiris their right to self-determination.
The Hurriyat leader appealed to the United Nations, OIC and international human rights organizations to take notice of the ongoing Indian atrocities in Jammu and Kashmir.—KMS
