Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, ex-Prime Minister of AJK, Supreme of Muslim Conference, has welcomed UN President-elect Mr Volkan Bozkir’s assurance for a UN resolution of Kashmir dispute, showing deep interest that if written request is made to him he as chief of UN General Assembly will look into delay in resolution of this 73-year old dispute. “This reflects Pakistan successful brotherly, diplomatic and political efforts aimed at finding out a solution of Kashmir dispute as per UN SC roadmap”, he added in his statement here on Thursday. Volkan is assuming office as UN General Assembly president on Sept 15, 2020.
“Indian 900,000 military forces sieging IIOJ&K since August 5, 2019, have murdered dozens of Kashmiri youth in their managed fake encounters. They drag out youth from homes and kill them in nearby jungles showing killings in fake encounters. It is Indian occupation forces Kill Kashmiri Youth savage drive parallel of which is available nowhere in current world history, he added.
He stated that he and his party are sending SOS to all collective forums of world including UN, OIC, OSEC, ASEAN, African Union, detailing continuing Indian atrocities in IIOJ&K. “Kashmiris do not want Indian presence in their land as Kashmir has never been Indian territory”, he clarified.
He asked his party cadre to hold group protests in all major cities in AJK and abroad drawing global attention towards Indian grabs of Kashmir, illegal internment of thousands of Kashmiri youth, women and even teenagers. We have asked Kashmiri diaspora to contact members of parliament of the host countries and apprise them on worst human rights conditions in IIOJ&K.
