Four flights including three international ones were not allowed to land at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal Inter-national Airport on Wednesday as dense fog re-duced visibility at the runway. According to the TV channel, all the four planes were compelled to hover around the airport after permission for landing was refused.
The three international flights which were not permitted to touch down were: Fly Baghdad’s flight from IF-341 from Najaf to Lahore, flight XY-317 coming from Riyadh to Lahore and Saudi Airline’s flight SV-734 from Jeddah to Lahore.
On the domestic front, an AirBlue’s flight com-ing from Karachi to Lahore PA-402 was also di-rected to stay away from the runway.
