Police on Sunday arrested over 21 persons from various areas of the twin cities of Taxila and Wah in a crackdown against violators of The Punjab Prohibition of Kite Flying Ordinance 2001.
During the crackdown, the police arrested more than 21 accused including kite fliers, its sellers as well as manufacturers and registered FIRs against them under Punjab Prohibition of Kite Flying Ordinance 2001.
More than 2,161 kites, 43 strings were also recovered from the accused along with kites manufacturing merchandise during the crackdown. APP
