Two people, including women killed and two women other injured in a road accident at Ghizer, Golodass in Gilgit on Tuesday. A tragic accident took place at Ghizer Golodass when a TZ vehicle was on the way to Gilgit. The accident happened due to slipping on ice.
Two persons including a woman died on the spot while one died on the way to the hospital. The deceased have been identified as Nasira Alam, daughter of Jan Alam, resident of Nomal Gilgit, Shakeel Ahmed Jan, son of Bulbul Jan, resident of Gupis and Wajahat Hussain son of Sooram Khan, resident of Chattorkhand. The injured include Sajida’s daughter Muhammad Faqir, resident of Nomal Gilgit and Sofia, resident of Barkalti.
Gilgit-Baltistan Emergency Services Rescue 1122 Ghizer arrived at the scene with an ambulance as soon as it was informed, and transported the dead bodies to DHQ Hospital Gahkouch. The bodies shifted to their native village in a Mercury van of Rescue 1122 after taking necessary action.
