DERA ISMAIL KHAN – At least 40 people were killed and several others injured after a passenger bus plunged into a deep ravine in the Dhana Sar near Zhob in Balochistan.
According to the district administration of Sherani, rescue teams and ambulances were dispatched to the scene soon after the accident.
Officials said women and children are among those who lost their lives in the accident.

Emergency responders are continuing efforts to rescue those trapped and provide assistance to the injured.
Officials said the injured are receiving immediate medical treatment and are being transferred to nearby hospitals for further care.
