Lahore Waste Management Company’s zero waste operation is continue in the city. All resources, machinery and man power has been deployed for effective zero waste operation in the city. LWMC is working on war footing basis and as per the direction of CEO LWMC all officials, machinery and manpower is in the field.
CEO also directed the staff to remain in the field till the closure of zero waste operation whereas all waste containers and waste in open plots are being cleared on priority. CEO along with all officers/workers are serving dedicatedly to make zero waste operation goes successful. Maintaining cleanliness in the city is our top most priority and in this regard company is using all possible means to ensure timely lifting of waste from the city. In next 24 to 48 hours a visible difference in cleanliness of the city can be observed whereas no officer or worker will be going home till it ends successfully.
He added that till now more than 18 thousand Tons of waste has been lifted in an environment friendly manner whereas the operation is still underway. We would not sit contentedly until the completion of zero waste operation and all resources would be used to provide citizens clean environment. All team of LWMC is in the field despite anything. He also added that citizens will not be disappointed. He further directed all officers for strict compliance and to resolve the complaints of the citizens.
